Catchin' Up

Well, last week was largely a week just for catching up on stuff. Worked around the house a lot, did some theatre stuff....

I also made a box for my niece's 7th birthday. This was the first actual 'project' from my scroll saw, and I think it came out okay:
I can see all the mistakes I made in it, all the flaws....but hey, she's 7. She liked it a lot. She's really into fairies (and kids love boxes to keep their stuff in), so this worked for her. It opens by rotating the lid:
All in all, it came out okay (and I learned a lot while doing it).
